Tanzania Zebra's

During a recent trip to Tanzania my wife and i came across these Zebra intermingling with a heard of Wildebeest. The Zebra's superior hearing and vision provides an early warning signal for the Wildebeeest from Lions and other predators. The migration of these animals in the Serengeti is part of an ancient phenomenon that is the largest movement of wildlife on earth.

What's That Smell

While on safari in the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana this elephant was very curious about us and our open jeep. He kept moving closer and closer. We were so silent you could hear him sniffing the air. The photo was taken with my Nikon D200
